Ingredients:
- 1 cup Dates (khajur)
- 1 ½ tablespoon Dry Mango Powder (amchoor powder)
- ½ teaspoon Red Chili Powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin Powder
- ½ teaspoon Coriander Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Garam Masala
- ½ teaspoon Dry Ginger Powder
- ¼ teaspoon Black Salt
- 2 cups Water
- Salt
Direction:
- Remove the dates’ seeds and chop the dates into small pieces.
- Boil the dates in 2 cups of water until they become soft.
- Let them cool, and then puree them with water using a blender.
- Transfer the puree to a pan and bring it to boil over medium flame.
- Add dry mango powder and cook for 5 minutes.
- Turn the flame off and then add red chili powder, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, dry ginger powder and black salt.
- Mix all ingredients and check for salt and spices.
- Let it cool and it is ready to be served with the snack you have prepared.
- You can keep this chutney in an air tight container and freeze it for up to a month.
- You can also change the thickness of chutney by changing the quantity of water.
